📄️ Getting Started
Clove is an interface for working with the next generation of natural language processing models. It is hosted in a secure environment for both you and your company, which means you can upload information that would typically be off-limits for public AI tools like ChatGPT.
📄️ Chat Features
Chat is the core of Clove. Here is what you can do within a conversation.
📄️ Adding References
One of the powerful parts of Clove is its ability to investigate, reference, and summarize documents. You can upload files directly into a chat for Clove to read and respond to.
📄️ Collections
Collections are a way to organize your files and documents so Clove can search them for relevant information when answering your questions. Under the hood, Clove uses a technology called Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to make this work. You can learn more about RAG here//www.ibm.com/think/topics/retrieval-augmented-generation
📄️ Projects
Projects are a way to organize your chats and give them shared context. A project groups related conversations together for a client, a system, an initiative, or any body of work and lets you define background information and instructions that are automatically applied to every chat in that project.
📄️ Internet Search
Clove can pull current information from the internet and cite it in its answers. This lets an agent go beyond what the underlying model learned during training to reference recent developments, look up an external standard, or check a supplier's page while still showing you exactly where each fact came from.
📄️ Workflows
Workflows turn a process you or your organization repeat into a reusable, visual template. Instead of a plain list of steps, a workflow is a graph you build on a canvas: steps connected by arrows, with decision points that branch the path based on what happens along the way. A step can attach an agent, force a tool to run, pull from your collections, and ask the person running it for input.
📄️ Customizing Clove
You can personalize your Clove experience through Settings. Click your profile at the bottom left of the sidebar and select Settings.
📄️ Generating Documents
Clove does more than answer in chat — it can produce polished, downloadable Word documents and PowerPoint presentations directly from a conversation. This is useful when the end product of your work is a deliverable: a report, a memo, an analysis, or a slide deck.
📄️ Template Configurations
Document templates let you define how Clove formats generated documents. If your organization has specific styling requirements for reports, memos, or other outputs, you can create a template that Clove will follow when generating DOCX files.
📄️ API Keys
API keys allow you to authenticate programmatic access to the Clove API without requiring interactive login. You can manage your keys from Settings > API Keys.
📄️ Reporting Issues
Clove is not perfect and there can be bugs and issues. Or maybe you have a great idea and want the team at Third Loop to hear about it.
