DMCA Policy

Third Loop respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we have adopted the following policy concerning copyright infringement. If you believe that material on our website infringes your copyright, please send a notice to our designated agent:

This agent information is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2).

Your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location on our website
  3. Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice

If you believe material you posted was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@3rd-loop.com that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or any district where Third Loop may be found if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant

We will forward your counter-notice to the complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we will restore the material.

Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing or was removed by mistake may subject you to liability for damages.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We will terminate accounts of users who receive three (3) or more valid DMCA notices within a twelve (12) month period.
